Maternity: Tannia and Rick

Oh my - Raider nation has a new member among its midst in the form of baby Tyson!  And what an adorable addition I’m sure he’ll be when he joins their ranks.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to witness Rick and Tannia maneuver through the chapters of their lives – first when I worked with them on their wedding and now when I photographed their first maternity session.

To start the shoot, we headed for the comforts of home.  Probably the best bet since the rain wasn’t letting up.  The afternoon, diffused light worked perfect as it streamed through all of the windows.  We did manage to catch a break in the rain, so out we went to capture some beautiful outdoor shots.  I had umbrella in hand in case the clouds opened up again (and to block some light if needed).  The entire day felt like a success.  Both Tannia and Rick had the glow of parenthood.  I love the glow of a new mom, but the gentleness of a new father is beautiful.

Congratulations Tannia and Rick!  I can’t wait to meet Baby Tyson.
