A Weekend of Kings and Rock Stars
We’re 4 days into 2011, and I think I’m finally recovered!
Okay, that doesn’t say much since my partying stamina is nil. But that doesn’t mean that we didn’t end 2010 with some excitement.
To start off, how about that Sacramento Kings game against the Memphis Grizzlies? Okay – I’m a Laker girl through and through. And despite living in Sacramento through most of my 20s, I remain, to this day – a Laker girl.
That doesn’t mean I won’t take advantage of fantastic seats at a sporting event. Row A, Seats 1 & 2? Sure, I’ll take them! And boy am I glad I did. Did you guys see that game winning shot by Tyreke Evans, beyond half court no less? Incredible. Unfortunately, I don’t have a photo because I was screaming my heart out along with the rest of Arco Arena. A great thing to witness, and what a start to the holiday weekend! Nothing like a great sporting event with the husband to get things started.

Of course, the party went on the next day as New Year’s Eve finally arrived. Happy with our newly decorated home, we invited our family and friends for some great food, champagne from the Sonoma Valley, live music and games. WOO HOO! Well into 2011, we were still enjoying great laughs. And from the looks of the lower level, we partied like rock stars! Well, sort of. Ha! Like I said, my stamina is nil.
But I like to imagine I can be, right?
